In preparation for AMCHAM’s door knock in Washington DC in June, the members of the delegation had a closed-door hybrid briefing with Mr. Christopher Elms, Spokesperson, U.S. Embassy on May 10th at the Boeing office in New Delhi. Ms. Ranjana Khanna, Director General CEO, AMCHAM welcomed participants. Mr. Salil Gupte, Vice Chairman, AMCHAM and President, Boeing India & South Asia provided the background and evolution of the annual door knock. Members gleaned insights on the current state of the U.S.-India partnership and asked sector specific questions. Members shared opportunities and challenges in space, skilling, defense co-production, quantum, global supply chain, manufacturing and data security, among others. The interaction was beneficial for the door knock delegation to have productive discussions in DC.
