A few members of the ICT Committee of AMCHAM India led by its Co-Chairmen, Mr. Naveen Tandon, Director – IEA, AT&T Communication Services India Private Limited and Mr. Vivek Vasishtha, Executive Director and Country Leader – Government and Regulatory Affairs, IBM India Pvt. Ltd. met with the new Secretary of MeitY, Mr. Ajay Prakash Sawhney, on 20th July 2017 in his office.

Members had a productive interaction with the Secretary and issues such as public procurement (Model RFP 2.0/GFR), CRO, CRI, encryption and IoT policy, manufacturing and R&D were discussed. The Secretary, MeitY, said that the suggestions made by the members were very useful and timely and he said that he would welcome a note on the issues.
