A meeting of the Differently Abled Chapter of AMCHAM’s Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Committee was held on March 12th virtually. The meeting commenced with opening remarks by Ms. Surabhi Wahal, Regional Director – Western Region, AMCHAM. This was followed by a welcome address and remarks by Consul General David J. Ranz, U.S. Consulate General Mumbai and Honorary Co-Chairperson – Diversity & Inclusion Committee, AMCHAM. Committee members introduced themselves and shared insights on the various D&I initiatives undertaken within their respective organizations with a focus on building inclusive workplace environments for the differently abled. As part of the agenda, members also actively ideated on forthcoming initiatives for the year 2021.
