GCC Committee Meeting
AMCHAM’s GCC Committee held a meeting on April 17th virtually under the leadership of Ms. Uma Ratnam Krishnan, Chairperson – GCC Committee, AMCHAM and Managing Director, Optum India, which commenced with a detailed briefing on the discussions recently held with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). Members underscored the need to identify, evaluate, and adopt best practices that are both globally benchmarked and contextually relevant to the domestic ecosystem. Particular emphasis was placed on examining domain-intensive sectors, with a focus on the value they generate and the effectiveness of their delivery models. The committee further recommended the development of four to five high-impact case studies to highlight the contributions and achievements of member organizations across their respective domains. These case studies are intended to showcase measurable outcomes, promote knowledge sharing, and encourage wider participation within the ecosystem. Discussions also encompassed the integration of GCCs into the global value chain, with an emphasis on strengthening their strategic alignment and enhancing their role as key contributors to global operations.
