Eastern Region Interactive Session on AI in Health AMCHAM’s Eastern Region organized an interactive session at the Hyatt Regency in Kolkata on December 1st on ‘AI in Health.’ The session covered an overview of AI in healthcare, case studies and simplifying healthcare experiences through content intelligence and conversational AI. The guest speakers were Mr. Somsankar Banerjee and Mr. Sumanta Adhikari, both Senior Data Scientists, IBM Consulting, CIC India Data & Technology Transformation. Mr. Banerjee spoke about his experience in developing next generation customer strategies to deliver profitable business outcomes, leveraging data science and machine learning. He discussed the forefront of emerging data science trends and technologies and how to create innovative insights for future client growth and development. Mr. Adhikari discussed the field of data, machine learning and artificial intelligence. He spoke about the field of natural language processing, machine learning, customer analytics and forecasting in the telecom, public, health and utility sectors. Ms. Amada Kidwai, Regional Director – Eastern Region, AMCHAM, introduced the speakers. Mr. Joydeep Datta Gupta, Vice Chairman – Eastern Region, AMCHAM and Partner, Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu India LLP, gave the welcome address, concluding remarks and the vote of thanks.
