A meeting of the U.S.-India Fast Track Mechanism under the Chairpersonship of Ms. Manmeet Nanda, Joint Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India was held on September 1st at Vanijya Bhawan, New Delhi, to discuss issues submitted by AMCHAM on behalf of member companies. Issues raised by Boston Scientific, Edwards Lifesciences, Johnson & Johnson, Apple India, Dell Technologies and Kelloggs India were discussed at the meeting. Representatives of all companies who had raised challenges were present and discussed their respective matters with representatives of various departments and ministries. All issues are now under process at various departments. The next meeting would likely be scheduled in January 2023.
