AMCHAM’s Aviation Committee met on 3rd July 2017 in New Delhi. They decided to focus on the implementation aspects of policy framework especially with states since AMCHAM had submitted many policy recommendations for which some have been implemented in the previous union budget and recent NCAP (National Civil Aviation Policy). AMCHAM led standalone trade missions, reverse trade missions, an annual summit and events around other big aviation shows, were also discussed. Airport infrastructure, MRO and ‘Make in India’ and skill development concluded the discussed topics.
