Western Region Committee Concall – 6th August 2019
The 2nd meeting of AMCHAM’s Western Region Committee 2019-2020 was held on August 6th via a concall. The meeting commenced with opening remark by Ms. Surabhi Wahal, Regional Director – Western Region, AMCHAM and brief welcome addresses by Ms. Ursula Thakkar, Chairperson – Western Region, AMCHAM and Managing Director, Lubrizol Advanced Materials India Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Sudhir Shenoy, Vice Chairperson – Western Region, AMCHAM and CEO, Dow Chemical International Pvt. Ltd.
The discussion included updates on western region initiatives since the last committee meeting as well as an overview on forthcoming events in the region. Members discussed the next steps towards the proposed welcome reception in honor of the incoming U.S. Consul General Mumbai, ideation on the Western Region signature event, proposed interactions with state governments and membership drive in the region.
