On October 2nd, United Way Eastern Region organized a Plog Run to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. AMCHAM’s Eastern Region supported the event with member companies participating. Around 350 people participated in fluorescent orange and green aprons. The ploggers were split into three groups covering 3 different locations in the city, each running approximately 3 km picking up trash along the way. The run was organized to create awareness about the dangers of plastic posted to the environment.
