Meeting with Ms. Beatrice Cameron, Regional Education Officer for South Asia at the U.S. Consulate Kolkata – 14th May 2015

Mr. Dinesh Agarwal, Chairman AmCham Eastern Region and Ms. Britta Leick-Milde Vice Chairperson, AmCham Eastern Region met with Ms. Beatrice Cameron, Regional Education Officer for South Asia at the U.S. Consulate Kolkata. Ms. Cameron had requested this meeting with AmCham in order to understand the feasibility of opening an American School in Kolkata. Ms. Leick-Milde briefed Ms. Cameron and said that given the rules and regulation that govern opening of an American School in Kolkata, it would probably at this time not be a workable proposition.
