On July 16th, AMCHAM’s Tamil Nadu Executive Committee held the first in person meeting in Chennai after two and half years due to the pandemic. The meeting was called to order by Mr. Rajan Aiyer, Chairman – Tamil Nadu Chapter, AMCHAM with Dr. Ravi Bhatkal, National Executive Board Member, AMCHAM (McDermid Solutions), Mr. Ashwin Narasimhan (Bank of America), Mr. Ashwin Ravindranath (EY) and Mr. Jerry Kapoor (Modine) present. The details of the July breakfast meeting were discussed and Mr. Jerry Kapoor said he would be making a presentation on employing more women in industries and give his company views on the subject. The next breakfast meeting would focus how companies evaluate employees on performance especially under work from home circumstances. Members felt that it would be good to share experiences on how this was being dealt with by other members. The issues discussed included return to work, engaging millennials, wellness of employees and company objectives.
