The Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Political-Military Affairs, Tina Kaidanow, met with key AMCHAM defense industry leaders on 31st August in New Delhi. Members discussed the revised Indian Defense Procurement Policy (DPP), issues on offsets and FDI policy, licensing issues and the challenges working in India. The PDAS was also informed of the recommendations that AMCHAM recently made to the ministry on defense aspects, including the DPP.
