Meeting with Ms. Marykay Carlson, Deputy Chief of Mission, U.S. Embassy – 23rd November 2016

Ms. Ranjana Khanna and Ms. Madhvi Kataria called on Ms. MaryKay Carlson, Deputy Chief of Mission, U.S. Embassy, in her office on 23rd November 2016. Mr. Patrick Santillo, Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs and Mr. Robert Kemp, Deputy Minister Counselor, Economic, Environment, Science and Technology Affairs, were also present.

Ms. MaryKay Carlson was confident that the trajectory of the U.S. – India relationship would remain positive as India and the U.S. shared many opportunities. The momentum in U.S. – India trade was also expected to be maintained under the new leadership. AmCham requested if a CODEL or Commerce/State Secretary could visit India to participate in AmCham’s 25th AGM to be held in New Delhi on 21st April 2017.

AmCham’s participation in the event on Indo-Asia Connectivity for Shared Prosperity to be organized by U.S. in Kolkata on 14th – 15th December and Vibrant Gujarat were also discussed.
