Anti-Corruption and FCPA Compliance Committee

The Anti-Corruption & FCPA Compliance Committee assists U.S. companies operating in India to manage the adverse effects of corruption on the business environment. It provides a forum for members to meet for discussions on varied topics such as anti-corruption challenges, code of ethics, anti-corruption best practices, POCA, etc. The committee focuses on recent trends in FCPA, legislation and anti-corruption enforcement and how they affect corporate compliance programs. The committee conducts meetings at regular intervals to discuss current issues and update members with latest developments relating to the subject.

The committee has been organizing an annual Anti-Corruption Compliance and Risk Management Master Class for the past ten years. Latest edition included thematic sessions around employees as the biggest asset or the biggest threat, evolution of TPRM, India’s corruption barometer, conducting investigations in the cyber age, Digital Personal Data Protection Act and its impact on businesses, overview of the FBI and intersection of ESG and compliance.
