The second meeting of AMCHAM’s National Executive Board for 2024-2025 was held on October 23rd in Bengaluru. Mr. Salil Gupte, Chairman, AMCHAM and President, Boeing India & South Asia chaired the meeting. Mr. Chris Hodges, Consul General, U.S. Consulate General Chennai addressed the board on the U.S.-India partnership in the region. Mr. Abhishek Tomar, Chairman – Economic Affairs Committee, AMCHAM and Head of the India Leadership Council (S&P Global and CRISIL) and Chief Data Officer, S&P Global Market Intelligence spoke on ‘India Forward: Emerging Perspectives’ and briefed the board on AMCHAM’s ongoing survey on the ‘Economic Impact of U.S. Companies in India.’ Mr. Sandip Patel, Vice Chairman, AMCHAM and Managing Director – IBM India, South Asia, IBM India Pvt. Ltd. spoke on ‘AI in Skilling.’
