Ms. Meenakshi Nevatia, Chairperson – Medical Devices Committee, AMCHAM, along with members of AMCHAM’s secretariat, met with Dr. Vinod Paul, Member, Niti Aayog on July 11th in New Delhi. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce AMCHAM. During the meeting, Dr. Vinod Paul mentioned the aim was to ensure access to devices that are safe and affordable which brings foreign investment, employment, reduces costs and increases export. He also said the draft medical devices bill would be out for comments within two weeks.
