AMCHAM’s Western Region Committee meeting was held virtually on July 13th. The meeting commenced with a welcome address by Ms. Surabhi Wahal, Regional Director – Western Region, AMCHAM, followed by opening remarks by Ms. Kaku Nakhate, Vice Chair, AMCHAM and President & Country Head, India, Bank of America, N.A. and Mr. Shailendra Jagtap, Vice Chairman – Western Region, AMCHAM and Managing Director & Country Manager, John Deere India Pvt. Ltd.

The agenda included exclusive insights and excerpts on the book ‘A New Cold War’ by (co-editor) Mr. Rahul Sharma, Managing Director, APCO Worldwide India Private Limited. Members ideated and discussed best practices, past initiatives and forthcoming events in the region. Special guest Consul General David J. Ranz, U.S. Consulate General Mumbai, addressed members on a few key developments which was followed by an interaction with committee members. The meeting ended with closing remarks by Mr. Shailendra Jagtap.
