On September 14th, the American Chamber of Commerce in India (AMCHAM) and Observer Research Foundation co-hosted the second curtain raiser on the U.S.-India defense partnership in New Delhi. The roundtable brought together Dr. Ajay Kumar, Defence Secretary to Government of India, members of both the U.S. and Indian defense industry and key think tank representatives for candid discussions centred on accelerating defense exports from India with a focus on co-development, co-production and skill development. Former Ambassador of India to the U.S., Arun Singh, was present at the closed door roundtable and shared his overarching sector views with participants.
