On June 14th, AMCHAM members interacted with Mr. Drew Schufletowski, Honorary National Executive Board Member, AMCHAM and Minister Counselor for Economic, Environment, Science, and Technology, U.S. Embassy, regarding CERT-In Guidelines, India’s digital policies and action plan and next steps for the U.S.-India ICT Working Group. Ms. Ann Mason, Trade and Technology Unit Chief, Economic, Energy, Science, and Technology Section, U.S. Embassy, moderated the session. From the U.S. Department of State, Mr. Richard Holliday, Communication and Information Policy EB/CIP/BA SCA Coordinator, participated in this meeting. Discussions were held on CERT-In Directions and FAQs that were released. Furthermore, AMCHAM India disseminated the key points of the AMCHAM report on the ‘Action Plan on Next Steps of the U.S.-India ICT Working Group (ICTWG).’ It was decided that AMCHAM would compile and submit an extensive report to the Embassy after taking inputs from associations and other stakeholders.
