AmCham hosted a roundtable discussion with the U.S. embassy officials to provide industry inputs for the U.S. – India Strategic & Commercial Dialogue scheduled to take place in Washington D.C. between 20-22nd September. The discussion was moderated by Atul Dhawan of Deloitte and Chairman of AmCham’s Economic Affairs Committee. Remarks on the forthcoming dialogue and related issues were made by U.S. embassy representatives George Sibley, Counselor for Economic Affairs and Environment, Science & Technology, and John McCaslin, Counselor for Commercial Affairs. Comments were also made by Jinu Koola, Financial Attaché to India and Scott Sindelar, Counselor for Agricultural Affairs.

Presentations were made on the opportunities and challenges impacting U.S. industry in the following sectors: healthcare, medical devices, agriculture and food processing, pharma, supply chain and logistics, procurement, ICT, energy, manufacturing and IPR.
