On August 10th, the door knock delegates that went to Washington DC for AMCHAM’s annual door knock held on June 12th – 17th gathered for a debriefing virtually under the leadership of Mr. Atul Dhawan, Chairman, AMCHAM and Chairperson/Partner, Deloitte South Asia. During the door knock, a total of 33 meetings took place with USG offices, law makers, think tanks and thought leaders focussed on sensitizing U.S. policy-makers and law-makers on issues impacting U.S. business in India. Delegates brainstormed on how to carry the momentum forward. Some of the topics discussed included IPEF, skilling initiatives, clean energy focus, the CAATSA waiver and future cross sector interactions with the Government of India, among others.
