The Chairman of AmCham’s Aviation Committee, Mr. Palash Roy Chowdhury, Country Manager – India, United Technologies Corporation India Pvt. Ltd. (Pratt & Whitney); Knowledge Partner of the Committee, Mr. Amber Dubey, Partner, KPMG in India; and Mr. Ajay Singha, Executive Director, AmCham, met Mr. R.N. Choubey, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, on 8th July 2015 in his office.
They apprised him about the past engagements which AmCham had with the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The subjects, which were discussed, were establishment of an eco-system for encouraging MRO activities, regional air connectivity, issues relating to cargo operations and related matters. While appreciating the issues taken up by AmCham, the Secretary immediately granted another meeting with the select group of AmCham members in the civil aviation sector to give inputs for the new Civil Aviation policy which the Ministry plans to roll out next month.
