A meeting of the Tamil Nadu Chapter Executive Committee was held on 11th March 2017 at the Madras Club, under the leadership of Mr. R. Ramkumar as the Chairman. Mr. Rajan Aiyer, the newly elected Vice Chairman was also present.

The discussion mainly focused on the forthcoming events that could be organized in Chennai. Members present agreed that disruptive technologies, artificial intelligence, automation etc. are some of the recent developments which will alter the way we do our work. The following themes have been suggested:

Algorithmic CEO’s
Energy neutral offices and manufacturing plants – smart corporate offices
Temporary employment

Members also discussed the issue of cyber security and decided that AMCHAM Tamil Nadu can organize an event on topic. The choice of speakers is to be decided.
