AMCHAM India submitted a recommendation on India-US Cooperation in New & Emerging Technologies to Mr. Satyajit Mohanty, Joint Secretary, National Security Council Secretariat PMO on September 23, 2021. The submission included important topics such as Data corridors & Role of Data Issues in Trade Agreements, Digitisation and Cloud Technology, Data localisation, etc.

On May 13th, 2022, AMCHAM India shared preliminary concerns on behalf of industry members related to CERT-In Directions 2022, notified on April 28th, 2022 to Dr. Sanjay Bahl, Director General, Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. Issues related to global server timing, NTP server connections,
