From 4th-6th March 2016, the USTDA Smart Cities Technical Advisory Team conducted a series of working sessions with city stakeholders in Ajmer to discuss city needs and potential project solutions. The closing day of the working sessions consisted of a smart cities technologies roundtable, which provided an opportunity for U.S. companies offering smart cities technology solutions to participate in the discussions.

To present U.S. technology offerings, participants in AmCham’s Capability Deck made short technology and case study presentations. AmCham member companies, UTC, Honeywell, Trimble Navigation, IBM, Xylem and Accenture participated at the roundtable, which had significant local administration participation. Participants included the Mayor, Mr. Dharmendra Gahlot and Mr. Pandya, Commissioner, Ajmer Municipal Corporation, officials from PWD and Nagar Nigam, AVVNL, PHED and the RTO office.
