AMCHAM’s Karnataka Chapter, in collaboration with knowledge partner EY, conducted a program titled ‘Key Changes and Industry Readiness Under the New Labour Codes’ on December 8th at EY’s office in Bengaluru. The session was led by Mr. Amarpal Singh Chadha, Partner, Ernst & Young LLP, along with EY subject matter experts. The program focused on key updates in the new labour codes, implications on compensation structures, hiring models, policies, processes, employee relations, workplace safety, and simplifying compliance requirements. Discussions also covered transition readiness for implementation across organisations.

Participants included representatives from a broad range of member companies across sectors, with representatives from Accenture, AO Smith, Broadridge Financial Services, Coca Cola, Exxon Mobil, First American, Goldman Sachs, Kauffman Rossin Kyndryl, Swagelok, Textron, Timken, and Wolken Software, among others. The session enabled member organizations to directly engage with experts, clarify compliance requirements, and understand practical impacts of the evolving labour regulatory framework.
