AMCHAM’s Hyderabad Chapter organized a virtual session on fraud and compliance with EY on August 23rd which featured speakers Mr. Sandeep Baldava, Partner & Leader (West), EY Forensics & Integrity Services and Mr. Prakash Lohia, Director, EY Forensics & Integrity Services. The session touched upon recruitment fraud like impersonation and moonlighting along with case studies, fraud risk mitigation strategies in the recruitment process, recent trends in emergence and expansion of GCCs and offshore support services for ethics and compliance. They also spoke on how there are emerging fraud risks and gaps in the current remote working environment. The speakers shared a bit about the current trend to move global compliance/ethics related processes to India and the landscape for such services that can be supported from GCCs. The presentation was followed by Q&A with participants.
