Session on AI & Reimaging HR
AMCHAM’s Hyderabad Chapter hosted a session on ‘AI & Reimagining HR’ in collaboration with EY on July 12th in Hyderabad with Mr. Arijit Chakraborty, Director GCC/GBS, People Analytics, EY. The session highlighted the transformative role of AI in HR, shifting the focus from administrative tasks to strategic HR initiatives. Key areas of AI application highlighted in the session included: 1) talent acquisition: automated resume screening, predictive analytics, and AI-powered interviews, 2) onboarding: personalized experiences, automated paperwork, and AI-driven engagement and 3) performance management: real-time tracking, AI-powered feedback and succession planning. Mr. Chakraborty shared that by automating routine tasks, AI enhances efficiency, improves decision-making, and elevates employee experience. Additionally, AI-driven chatbots and augmented reality are reshaping employee interactions and training methodologies. Another topic discussed was predictive analytics, a powerful AI tool, which enables HR to forecast employee attrition, identify retention risks, and make data-driven decisions to mitigate turnover. To measure the impact of AI initiatives, organizations are increasingly focusing on ROI and key HR metrics.
