Representation sent to Additional Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) – 6th September 2023

AMCHAM sent a representation to Additional Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways highlighting concerns of the aggregator mobility industry under the MV Aggregator Guidelines 2020, regarding data protection and cybersecurity, licensing framework for the States and operational flexibility within the overall restrictions on commissions to drivers.

AMCHAM in response to a meeting held by the Additional Secretary, MORTH sent a representation for consideration by the Ministry while reconsidering the rules under the guidelines, including, aligning the data localisation and cybersecurity requirements of the MV Aggregator Guidelines, 2020 with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, matter regarding calculation of commissions and periodicity of the commissions.

 

Representation sent to Lt. Governor, Delhi – 20th October 2023 on the Delhi MV Aggregator Scheme

 

A representation was sent to Lt. Governor, Delhi highlighting challenges being faced by the mobility aggregator industry under the Delhi MV Aggregator Scheme and the industry recommendations on transition to electric mode, price control in the rideshare marketplace and data protection policies.
