Recommendations on Draft Code on Social Security (Karnataka) Rules, 2026

AMCHAM submitted suggestions to the Department of Labour, Government of Karnataka, on the Draft Code on Social Security (Karnataka) Rules, 2026, which cover definitions and publication of details of the Competent and Appellate Authorities, employer consultation before board nominations, workable timelines for verification of nominations, alignment of funeral expenses with the Central Rules, flexibility in maintenance of records and registers, and stakeholder consultation on the inspection scheme alongside digitization of forms.
