AMCHAM’s Karnataka Chapter, in partnership with Ernst & Young LLP, hosted a focused session on ‘Navigating Key HR & Compliance Updates’ on August 28th at EY’s office in Bengaluru. The program drew strong participation from U.S. industry, with senior HR and compliance leaders attending to better understand the latest statutory updates impacting their organizations. The interactive setting enabled members to engage in peer-to-peer learning while deepening their knowledge of emerging workforce and compliance priorities. The session was led by experts Mr. Amarpal S. Chadha, Partner, EY, and Mr. Rajesh Sureshan, Director, EY, who provided detailed insights into the Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) Scheme and compliance under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Members discussed practical approaches to hiring models, incentive claims, and onboarding apprentices, while also raising queries specific to their company experiences. The high level of participation and interaction reflected the importance of these topics for AMCHAM members, underscoring the session’s value as a platform for knowledge sharing and collaborative learning.
