Ms. Ranjana Khanna, Director General CEO, AMCHAM and Ms. Komple Sharma, Director, AMCHAM called on Mr. Rajesh Agrawal, Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India on October 14^th at his office. Ms. Khanna congratulated him on assuming the role of Commerce Secretary. Mr. Agarwal acknowledged the current challenging time and how it also presents opportunities for the industry. Areas for mutual collaboration and growth were discussed. With India poised to become the third largest economy in the world soon, the role of trade and commerce becomes more critical.
