Ms. Ranjana Khanna, DG CEO, AMCHAM, Mr. Sanjay Chadha, Co-Chairman – Infrastructure & Smart Cities Committee, AMCHAM and Head of Public Policy and Government Relations, Uber India and South Asia and Ms. Geeta Poduval, Director, AMCHAM met with Mr. Mahmood Ahmed, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India on January 22^nd at his office. Discussions were held around U.S.-India economic cooperation in the transportation sector, including road safety and the role of U.S. companies in partnering with the Government of India’s mission of enhancing road safety across the country. Mr. Ahmed also addressed industry concerns regarding the issuance of revised Motor Vehicles Aggregator Guidelines which are under finalization.
