Mr. Amitabh Kant, Secretary, DIPP, called a meeting of the Committee to Fast-Track Implementation of U.S. Investments in India on 3rd August 2015 in Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi. AmCham members, who had submitted their specific issues were called for the meeting. Secretary, DIPP responded to the progress made on their concerns with the help of representatives of other Ministries called for this meeting. While some issues raised by member companies were resolved, many remained unresolved. Secretary, DIPP promised to take them up with the concerned Ministries.
