Maha CSR Summit 2025
The Maha CSR Summit 2025, hosted by the Government of Maharashtra in collaboration with key stakeholders, was held on June 5th and 6th at the World Trade Centre, Mumbai. AMCHAM India was proud to be an official partner of the summit, which focused on catalyzing high-impact CSR collaborations aligned with the state’s development agenda. The summit convened leaders from government, industry, and the development sector to discuss scalable models, share success stories, and explore partnerships that advance inclusive growth in Maharashtra. AMCHAM India played a pivotal role in curating knowledge-driven sessions and ensuring strong representation from leading U.S. companies operating in India. The two-day summit included high-impact sessions focused on:
- Aligning CSR with Maharashtra’s development priorities
- Education, skilling, and livelihood generation
- Healthcare and nutrition
- Climate action and environment sustainability
- Women empowerment and gender equity
- Leveraging technology for development
Each session fostered dialogue between government officials and corporate leaders to co-create scalable, sustainable interventions. AMCHAM member companies — Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd., Dun & Bradstreet, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, Kellogg India, KPMG India, Lions Club International and Lubrizol India — actively contributed as speakers, sharing insights on topics such as water stewardship, nutrition, CSR governance, oral health, STEM education, healthcare, and financial literacy. Their participation reinforced the importance of cross-sector collaboration and knowledge-sharing to scale impactful CSR initiatives. A key moment at the summit was the recognition of Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd., an AMCHAM member, for its exemplary contributions to CSR. The award was presented by senior government representatives, highlighting Colgate’s long-term commitment to social impact. AMCHAM’s partnership in the summit reinforced its commitment to fostering responsible business and inclusive development across Maharashtra. The summit was well attended by CSR practitioners of AMCHAM member companies.
