Interaction with Mr. Graham Mayer, Minister Counselor for Political Affairs, U.S. Embassy

On May 17th, AMCHAM organized a closed-door interaction with Mr. Graham Mayer, Minister Counselor for Political Affairs, U.S. Embassy at the S&P Global office in Gurugram. Ms. Ranjana Khanna, Director General CEO, AMCHAM opened the session with an overview of AMCHAM’s annual door knock and welcomed participants. Mr. Abhishek Tomar, National Executive Board Member, AMCHAM and Chief Data Officer, S&P Global Market Intelligence, in his opening remarks, touched upon the strength of U.S.-India cooperation in trade, security, climate and space, among other areas. Mr. Graham Mayer discussed how U.S.-India cooperation on pandemic response evidenced the maturity of the U.S.-India relationship. He highlighted the shared interests of both countries in the areas of defense, education, and technology. In an active Q&A segment, members discussed ease of doing business, AI, defense technology, iCET, production linked incentives, supply chain challenges and previewed their objectives for the upcoming annual door knock to Washington DC in June.
