AMCHAM’s Hyderabad Chapter Sports 2025 Prize Distribution Day took place at the Hyatt Gachibowli, Hyderabad, on February 20th to honor the winners and runners-up of the annual sports program, which featured 11 sporting disciplines. Ms. N. Bhavani Sri, IAS, Secretary (Addl. Charge), National Turmeric Board; Deputy Development Commissioner – SEZs, Telangana, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, graced the event as the chief guest.

The program began with a welcome address by Mr. Ranvijay Lamba, Chairman – Hyderabad Chapter, AMCHAM and Country Head, Arcesium India. He shared about the activities of the chapter and encouraged more involvement from members. Ms. N. Bhavani Sri spoke of the importance of sports and how encouraging it was to witness the participation of IT folks and American companies in sports in Hyderabad. Prizes were given to 15 companies who emerged as the winners and runners-up of various sporting disciplines. Mr. Jaideep Agarwal, Business Lead, Warner Bros Discovery. gave the closing remarks and encouraged more companies to be a part of the next edition. The 2025 edition had participation from 22 companies and around 1,200 athletes in total.
