AMCHAM’s GCC Committee held a meeting on September 25^th at the IBM office in Pune. Ms. Sandya Rodrigues, Regional Director – Hyderabad Chapter, AMCHAM and Ms. Komple Sharma, Director, AMCHAM welcomed members. Mr. Santosh Kulkarni, Chairman – GCC Committee, AMCHAM and Managing Partner & Global Leader – Global Capability Centers BU, IBM set the tone for the meeting. Members deliberated upon themes and areas to be included in the annual committee agenda. Prominent themes included building a GCC ecosystem, skilling, innovation, industry-academia collaboration, regulatory framework, value addition, etc. Suggestions to bring in the voice from onshore stakeholders, success stories and building a compendium of different GCC best practices and use cases was also discussed.
