AMCHAM’s Energy Committee held a meeting on February 16th virtually under the leadership of Mr. Anil Bhatia, Chairman – Energy Committee, AMCHAM and Vice President and Managing Director, Emerson Process Management (India) Pvt. Ltd. The committee deliberated upon the Draft National Electricity Policy (NEP), 2026, U.S.-India partnership in the energy sector focused on decarbonization and CCUS,  AI thermoelectric corridors and urban mining for critical mineral security. Mr. Atanu Mukherjee, Chairman – Eastern Region, AMCHAM and President & CEO, Dastur Energy Inc. opened the discussions. Representatives from AWS, FTI Consulting, GE Vernova, Honeywell, Intel, John Crane and Pyxera Global attended the meeting.
