On January 13th, AMCHAM convened a Defense Committee meeting virtually under the leadership of Mr. William L. Blair, Chairman – Defense Committee, AMCHAM and Vice President and Chief Executive, Lockheed Martin India, CAPT Daniel Fillion, Honorary USG Chair – Defense Committee, AMCHAM and Chief, Office of Defense Co-operation, U.S. Embassy, Mr. Michael Koch, Co-Chairman – Defense Committee, Vice President, Boeing Defense Space and Security India and Mr. Gaurav Mehndiratta, Co-Chairman – Defense Committee, AMCHAM and Partner and Head – Aerospace & Defense, KPMG in India. The committee discussions revolved primarily around the U.S. presence at Aero India and the leadership engagements planned during the event. The committee was also updated on the conclusion of the AMCHAM defense document focused on U.S. defense contribution in India.
