CXO Session: Navigating Cyber Incidents in the Age of Adversarial AI and an Enhanced Regulatory Environment - 19 April 2024
AMCHAM’s Karnataka Chapter organized a CXO session on April 19th at The Ritz-Carlton, Bengaluru on ‘Navigating Cyber Incidents in the Age of Adversarial AI and an Enhanced Regulatory Environment.’ Mr. Atul Ujagar, National Executive Board Members and Vice Chairman – Karnataka Chapter, AMCHAM and Managing Director and Partner Management Director, Nike Sourcing India. Mr. Supreet Sachdev, Office Managing Partner, KPMG in Bangalore, set the context for the discussion. Mr. Sony Anthony, Partner and Co-Head of Cyber Defense and Incident Response, Global Head of Cyber in Deals, KPMG in India, discussed challenges in managing cyber incidents (such as the complexity of cyber-attacks, regulations, reputation, response, and readiness), insights from real-world cyber incidents, transformation of cyber response strategies including hyper-care, rapid response, stakeholder management, and recovery. Essential components for developing an anti-ransomware strategy was also discussed. Dr. Ekroop Caur, IAS, Secretary Department of ITBT and S&T, Government of Karnataka, Ms. Ruchi Bindal, Deputy Secretary, Department of IT/Bt & S&T, Government of Karnataka, members of AMCHAM’s Karnataka Chapter Executive Committee and representatives from many member companies joined the session.
