On July 8th, AMCHAM organized a CSR site visit to a project of Rockwell Automation India, in collaboration with India STEM Foundation, at Salwan Girls Senior Secondary School in New Delhi for Ms. Nancy Jackson, Deputy Assistant Secretary for India, Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs, U.S. Department of State. The project enables STEM education for girls through experiential learning interventions and benefits 300-350 students in grades 6th-10th. Deputy Assistant Secretary Jackson toured the Atal Tinkering Lab and interacted with students, teachers and the Vice Principal. Officials from the U.S. Embassy, representatives from India STEM Foundation, Rockwell Automation India and AMCHAM participated in the visit.
