Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee
The CSR Committee seeks to build on the CSR framework of the Companies Act and support members in integrating best practices into their ongoing projects. It provides a forum for members to meet for interactive sessions and address questions on various topics related to CSR to support unwavering commitment toward a social purpose.
The committee has produced several compendiums/books on CSR activities of members showcasing the achievements of U.S. companies in the CSR sector. The committee aims to meet four times a year, often inviting specialized speakers to gain a better understanding of emerging CSR trends. AMCHAM has an MOU with USAID and they play an active role in the committee.
