The Anti-Corruption & FCPA Compliance Committee held a committee meeting on August 23^rd at the Microsoft office in Gurugram themed ‘Practical Use Cases of GenAI in Legal and Compliance Practice.’ Ms. Komple Sharma, Director, AMCHAM, welcomed participants. Mr. Gaurav Ajmani, Chairman – Anti-Corruption & FCPA Compliance Committee, AMCHAM and Associate General Counsel: Business Conduct & Ethics, Amazon Seller Services (P) Ltd. and Ms. Bhawna A. Ranganadhan, Co- Chairperson – Anti-Corruption & FCPA Compliance Committee, AMCHAM and Deputy General Counsel, Legal and Compliance, Genpact gave opening remarks and set the scene for the meeting. Mr. Vikram Tiwari, Regional Director of Compliance, Microsoft Asia Pacific, Department of Corporate, External and Legal Affairs (CELA), Ms. Meenal Nasa, Senior Corporate Counsel, Corporate, External & Legal Affairs (CELA), Microsoft India & South Asia and Mr. Raghav Khullar, Sr. Specialist – Modern Works, Microsoft India were the expert speakers. The session covered use of GenAI for legal and compliance professionals, data privacy and IP concerns, demo of Microsoft GAI tools for legal and compliance practice and other areas to use GAI in compliance practice.
