These recommendations were submitted by AmCham’s Tax, Tariff and Regulatory Affairs Committee to Mr. Arun Jaitley, Minister of Finance, GOI on 2nd August 2016. The note was also sent to Mr. Hasmukh Adhia, Secretary, Department of Revenue, Government of India, Mr. Najib Shah, Chairman, Central Board of Excise & Customs and Mr. Vinay Chhabra, Director General, Directorate General of Taxpayer Services.
