AmCham supported the 8th edition of the CLO Chief Learning Officers Summit, held from 1st – 2nd September, offered a unique platform for aspiring young leaders and entrepreneurs to not only sharpen their skills but it was also an opportunity to learn from some of the luminaries in the industry today. There were engaging discussions through a series of sessions focusing on leadership development, learning engagement and technology, talent management and growth among various other topics. These sessions created an opportunity for promoting individual and organizational learning and development.
The summit opened with an inaugural session by Mr. Anant Geethe, Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister, Government of India, which was immediately followed by a CEO panel session on ‘Leaders on Learning and Leadership.’ The esteemed panel was represented by 3 of AmCham’s members – Ms. Shilpa Divekar Nirula, CEO, Monsanto India Region, Mr. Pradeep Lankapalli, MD South Asia, Thomson Reuters and Mr. Siraj A. Chaudhry, Chairman, Cargill India. The 2 days saw 21 sessions focusing on adaptive learning, transitioning leadership and succession planning, learning from an agile work force, and the right learning mix with speakers from Forbes Asia, BBC, NIIT, Reliance Industries, Aditya Birla Finance, PepsiCo, and Google, among others.
AmCham supported the event with member representatives from Monsanto, Thomson Reuters, Cargill India, Morgan Stanley and Johnson and Johnson, who shared their expertise as panel speakers at the summit. The 1st day of the summit concluded with the TISS LeapVault CLO Awards Ceremony. Day 2 of the event closed with the Universum awards and employers branding session.
