AMCHAM organized a meeting of the members of the Pharma Committee under the Chairmanship of Mr. Sanjiv Navangul, Chairman, AMCHAM Pharma Committee and MD, Janssen Pharma. The meeting was Co-Chaired by Mr. Nick Mitchell, Board Member, AMCHAM, Co-Chairman, AMCHAM Pharma Committee and MD, Phenomenex. Other members included representatives from Baxter India.

The agenda for discussion in the meeting included the response to the government on biosimilar guidelines, increasing the membership base in the committee, discussions on FDC bans, clinical trials scenario and inclusion of pharma/biotech in the agenda for 4th National Healthcare Conference scheduled for 16th September 2016 in Hyderabad.
