U.S. Ambassador Richard Verma, Mr. Frank Kendall, Under Secretary of Defense, and Keith Webster, Director, International Cooperation for the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, met key participants from the U.S. and Indian industry and discussed success in Defense Trade & Technology Initiatives (DTTI), avenues of cooperation beyond DTTI, transfer of technology and other issues. Members from Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Raytheon, BAE, GE, UTC and others were present and got an opportunity to share their successes and challenges. Key counterparts from the Indian defense industry were also present.
