On June 5th in Chennai, AMCHAM met with UNICEF representatives Mr. K.L. Rao, Chief, Social Policy – Tamil Nadu & Kerala, Mr. Syam Suheer Bandi, Communication Specialist and Mr. Biju, Communication Specialist, to discuss potential collaboration between AMCHAM and UN agencies. Implementation strategies for the Family Friendly Business Policy (FFBP) among U.S. industries in Tamil Nadu and Kerala was also discussed. The objective would be to enhance the work-life balance and family support systems within U.S. companies operating in the region and to align business practices with global standards for family-friendly policies.
