AMCHAM’s Medical Devices committee held a meeting on March 7th over video call under the chairmanship Ms. Meenakshi Nevatia, Chairperson – Medical Devices Committee, AMCHAM and Managing Director, Stryker India, Mr. Manoj Madhavan, Co-Chairman, Medical Devices Committee and Managing Director, Boston Scientific and Mr. Sandeep Makkar, Co-Chairman, Medical Devices Committee, AMCHAM and Managing Director, Johnson & Johnson India. During the meeting members had an interaction with Ms. Aileen Nandi, Honorary National Executive Board Member, AMCHAM and Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs, U.S. Embassy. Discussion was based on ease of doing business and access to innovation followed by updates on the public procurement order and exemption list, MDR 2017 and regulatory path way, pricing policy and TMR. Members deliberated points on PPO, pricing TMR and EODB. The meeting concluded with closing remarks by Mr. Sandeep Makkar, Co-Chairman, Medical Devices Committee, AMCHAM who thanked members for their valuable inputs.
